We used to talk about heart rate monitors and then VO2max, but now in modern cycling it's all about the WATT. For this reason, Alé's R+D Lab aimed to create the first cycling bibshort that optimizes the energy produced while pedalling. Reduced seams combined with the xAir Bib straps provide serious stability at an ultra-low volume. The raw-cut leg hem features lightweight silicone grippers integrated into the weft yarns of the fabric. Watt 3.6 relies on a proprietary shuttle-woven fabric created by Alé’s R+D Lab and exclusively produced in Italy. The result is a unique 3D jacquard structure with various compressive bands that contour to the natural form of the muscle for an ideal fit. Watt 3.6 is the latest garment to enter the R-EV1 collection, Alé’s most advanced line-up of performance apparel for cyclists performing at their maximum.

8H shammy in elastic microfibre with high memory padding, strategically positioned in the contact points. In the perineal and ischiatic area, the 120kg/m³ maximum density padding is calibrated and breathable on all covered points, and ensures utmost protection against shocks on the road. The central relief channel was developed to protect the nerve endings for improved support, also on the longer distances. The lateral shaped wings are flexible and follow the body movements while pedaling, adapting to the cyclist’s anatomy for the highest comfort.
